"A person's identity is not to be found in behavior... but in the capacity to keep a particular narrative going."
What narrative do I want?
Overall this book talks about the importance of making impactful choices during our 20s, when our brains are undergoing their final major development.
While I agree on the premise, I wonder if this is the best we can do, what if there is a better way to structure society, so that we do not need to fight our biology to do it?
Or what do we attain when we do fight the inconvenient/bad parts of our humanity? Do we get better or worse than a human?
